Nancy Pelosi Asks William Jefferson To Resign

I'm glad Nancy Pelosi did the right thing and made William Jefferson resign. Jefferson does a disservice to blacks saying this is discrimination. When the FBI finds $100,000 in your freezer the Minority Leader of the House has good reason for asking you to resign from the Ways and Means Committee.

Update: This is surreal. President Bush ordered records sealed that were taken by the FBI from Jefferson's office. Hastert and Pelosi issued a joint statement demanding the return of records "unconstitutionally seized."
