Gas Up the Campaigns

This is a smart move by the Democratic Party. Candidates are campaigning at gas stations.

On Tuesday, U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson, who is seeking re-election, held a news conference at a Tampa station, bashing high prices.

In a Tampa Tribune story, Nelson denied his move had anything to do with a memo from national Democratic strategists, obtained by the Tribune, urging their candidates to hold photo-ops at gas stations.

The next day, Busansky held her own photo-op at a station on North Dale Mabry Highway.

Can Republicans say $3.00 a gallon?
