More eight in 10 Democrats and political independents--and seven in 10 Republicans--believe civil war was likely.
Slightly more than half--52%--of those surveyed said the United States should begin withdrawing forces. One in six favors immediate withdrawal of all troops.
The poll found that 56% say the U.S. is not making significant progress toward restoring civil order in Iraq--a major surge in pessimism since December.
In a galaxy far, far away known as InstaPundit.
The press had better hope we win this war, because if we don't, a lot of people will blame the media.
This is coming from a man spreading rumors that Timothy McVeigh was an Iraqi agent. Reynolds also had the theory that Osama bin Laden was just a patsy. "So that we won't look past him to the real mastermind," wrote Reynolds, "This is disinformation being fed to the media by our own government to put the real culprits (Iraq or whoever) off guard. Keep your eye on this one."
Reynolds loves to criticise journalism. The irony is, as a blogger, Reynolds is a horrible journalist. People who have a paranoid distrust the media tend to be conspiracy theorists.
Reynolds sees the media responsible for every woe in Iraq. Many journalists have lost their lives (here, here and here) covering the war. Reynolds attacks these people from the safety of Tennessee. The problem is Reynolds does not have the courage to confront his wrongful judgement. Reynolds sounds like a drug addict lashing out at others. He has a neocon jones that he can't kick.
