Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R - NY)
helped write the Paul Ryan plan to privatize Social Security. Stefanik is being
less than candid when she says she will not vote to make changes in Social Security.
“As a member of Congress, I will fight for our seniors and will not vote to make any changes, reductions, or cuts to those in or near retirement.”
WNYT asked Stefanik for specifics about how she would protect Social Security. The reporter wanted more than talking points. That was too much for Stefanik and she walked away from the interview. Literally.
