Republican Says Gay Men Should Be Like Alexander the Great

From the mouths of Republicans: New Mexico State Senator Bill Sharer blogs that the best way for gay men to become straight is to be more like Alexander the Great. Seriously?

Alexander the Great’s - View of Marriage

Alexander the Great (356-323 BC) married a Bactrian woman – modern day Afghanistan. Alexander may have engaged in homosexualactivity, but he married a woman.

He directed his officers to stop “whoring” around and find a local woman to marry.

WHY?

BECAUSE

“It is only through blood relations that hatred and war will end”. In other words, Alexander the Great thought that marriage was about creating and raising the next generation.

From what we know about Alexander the Great, he didn't stop engaging in gay sex after he got married m. Republicans are to the point now that their best argument against holmosexuality is for gay men to act like one of the most famous gay men in history.
