Occupy Tampa Forced to Leave the Park

Occupy Tampa has been removed from Lykes Gaslight Park tonight.

A group of 15-20 Occupants would like the Facebook community to know that they have been removed, peacefully, from Gaslight Park by the TPD and are continuing their occupation through migration to other parks and public places throughout downtown Tampa this evening.

According to WMNF, Occupy Tampa's general assembly have decided to occupy the park every night. The general assembly agreed that protesters would not risk arrest. The protesters plan to occupy different parks. Protesters will continue to meet at Lykes Gaslight Park everyday.
