MadTV had many sketches that were ahead of its time. The show predicted the iPad and did a Rick James sketch (with James) before Dave Chappelle. Nicole Sullivan's character Darlene McBride was an early predecessor to Sarah Palin. In the sketch, McBride goes on a tour of America to take the country back for white people.
