There is the potential of Gov. Rick Scott signing a bill stripping unemployment benefits to anyone who turns down a job paying equal or more than the person's unemployment check. Scott and Senate President Mike Haridopolos saw they have no evidence of the employment gaming the system. The question is if that is the case why has Scott and Haridopolos not killed the legislation? Could it be that businesses do not want to be taxed for employees they lay off?
