Kathy Castor on Nancy Pelosi

Kathy Castor is sending out mixed signals about whether or not she supports Pelosi as Minority Leader. I am not sure if Castor is speaking Pelosi running or what she would do if she was in Pelosi's shoes.

Despite the beating, Pelosi wants to remain in command. That's caused discomfort among some Democrats, including Rep. Kathy Castor, D-Tampa. "I was surprised the speaker wanted to return as minority leader," Castor told the Buzz in an e-mail. "I would have been in favor of a fresh start."

I wonder if Pelosi is wishing she told President Obama that there would be no health care bill without the public option. Obama, Rahm Emanuel and David Alexrod thought people being mandated to buy health insurance would be politically more popular than a volantary public option.
