Sarah Palin Talks of Third Party

How I would love for Sarah Palin to form a third party and destroy the hopes of the Republican Party.

"Some in the GOP -- it's their last shot. It's their last chance. We will lose faith, and we will be disappointed and disenchanted from them if they start straying from the bedrock principles... if they start straying, then why not a 3rd party?"

Democrats will remember the joy that was Ralph Nader and the Green Party in 2000. Al Gore did not the best campaign, but neither did George W. Bush. It is hard to say how much the Nader factor played into Al Gore's defeat. One thing is certain: Republicans did everything in their power to help Nader run in 2004. The San Francisco Chronicle reported one out of ten donors that gave a $1,000 or more also gave to the Bush campaign.

A new Tea Party would out be big enough to be a major political force. What the Tea Party would do is help Democrats get elected by taking voters from the Republican Party. A wonder how long the GOP is going to tolerate Palin talking about mutiny.

In regards to the 2000 election, the short answer is this:
the reality [and you can know this for yourself if you see http://www.anunreasonableman.com
is that
gore threw the race in ‘00 at least 3 times:
1.] when, at the beginning of his campaign, he and lieberman stopped trying to say things
that the people wanted to hear because their corporate paymasters yanked their leash [see
“crashing the party” by ralph nader]
2.] gore now ADMITS that he didn’t try hard enough to contest the voting irregularities
3.] if you see michael moore’s FAHRENHEIT 9/11, you can see with your own eyes Al Gore
shouting down the congressional black caucus’ attempt to question the voting irregularities
on a ‘point of order’ which is like saying that, if i mug you, you can’t yell for help if we
are in a ‘quiet hospital zone’.
Besides, there were a total of six third party candidates, all of whom got more than the # of
votes that gore ‘lost’ by, so why blame nader?
the dems [or the car companies for that matter] blaming nader for their losses is like a hooker
blaming their v.d. on mother theresa…!
