Sarah Palin in Florida

Watching Sarah Palin unedited for over three minutes is an endurance test in tolerating stupidity. The woman can barely talk coherently

PALIN: Thomas Paine, one of our founders once said, "If there is to be trouble let it be in my day so my child may have peace." What he meant way back then was there should be an expectation that some sacrifices will have to be made in our generation so future generations can have the opportunities we've had to grow and thrive and prosper. So that our private sector can do what does best in creating jobs. So yeah! With some practical things that have to be made... some decisions here perhaps changing in future years. Not adversely affecting those reliant on retirement benefits today, for instant, Social Security benefits. But changing perhaps the eligibility in future years. That has to be something we're brave enough, courageous enough to start talking about.

Palin proposes cutting Social Security benefits will increase hiring in the private sector. Social Security is fiscally managed better the federal budget. There are some tweaks needed to keep Social Security solvent.

You can watch the video and see Palin is just ab libbing this as she goes along. She has never thought about the policy implications of cutting Social Security benefits. I guarantee Palin and other Republicans would scream bloody murder if Obama attempted to pass a tax increase on the top two percent earners to reduce the deficit. Palin doesn't have fiscal policies. Just talking points.

  1. That's just great. I'm visiting Wasilla as Palin visits Florida. I'm here to visit my newborn granddaughter. She's being an idiot. Makes sense to me.
