Underwater Coral Nurseries

Volunteers from the Florida Marine Aquarium Society are growing coral underwater. The volunteers have created underwater nurseries to restore reefs off of Key Largo. The Sun Sentinel has magnificent high resolution photos of the nurseries. Go check them out.

Excellent photos of an incredible effort, great story and link. Now, more then ever Floridians need to get behind the movement to establish numeric nutrient standards for all of our waters. This effort has been thwarted since the 'jeb!' era, now it is time to help clean up Florida Bay, which will help secure a higher success rate for projects such as reef building in the Keys.
