The Professional Left

I continue to the the White House's neoliberal bent makes it hate progressives. Robert Gibbs apparently is shocked the entire Left doesn't think like the New Republic. Gibbs is the lates White House official to bash progressives.

“I hear these people saying he’s like George Bush. Those people ought to be drug tested,” Gibbs said. “I mean, it’s crazy.”

Actually, Bush did a better job pushing his legislative agenda through than Obama did.

This is Gibbs' response to a question on how Obama caves on policy.

“They wouldn’t be satisfied if Dennis Kucinich was president.”

Gibbs called progressives "the Professional Left" that only wants to complain. I call them the people that helped Obama get elected. Bashing progressives may play well with Fox News but see if Fox News jumps on the Obama bandwagon come 2012.
