A Happy Porcupine

Margaret Hartmann has the details about this extremely friendly porcupine.

This 5-year-old porcupine was a house pet before coming to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, and it shows; He chases his tail, nuzzles his handler, and wants his belly scratched.

Notice the handler has to wear gloves to pet the porcupine. Sweet animal but he would not make the ideal pet.
