Friday Cat Blogging

This is our very own Tas holding a lion cub. I had to beg him to post this picture. This photo isabsolutely amazing.

Heh, I remember how this night started: We walked into the restaurant/club, sat down, and before drink orders were taken somebody walks in with this large animal. I turn to a friend and say, "What is that?"

He replies, "I believe that is a lion!"

When this is how your night starts, you know it's going to be a wild one.

All cats are sweet when they are in the kitten/cub stage. When they get a year-old look out.

My favorite Tas photo. I had to beg to post this but the photo withe you and Michelle Malkin is half way around the internet. That is a photo I would want to keep a lid on.

The photo with Malkin is good for a guffaw -- that's why I had it taken. I was surprised to find it on American Power one day (I guess ***f ********n called in some favors with his conservative buddies), attached to a ranting post about how much of an asshole yours truly is; and how American Power is doing the whole Internets a favor by unmasking the my identity since I must be a stalker. The funniest part about that AP post is that it linked to a CFLF piece where I already unmasked myself. I left a comment at AP stating such, and asking the blogger there to remove his slander about me being anonymous. He never responded. Big fucking shocker there.

I don't think conservative bloggers even read the posts they link to.

As far as stalking goes, I got a set of photos on Facebook of my time at CPAC, which include shots of me with Pat Boone and Amanda Cogndon. I guess I'm stalking them, too. Somebody call security! If any of these chuckleheads who accuse me of stalking would ask how I got a photo with Malkin, I would have told them I got it during the (brief) time when I was a reporter. But the wingnut bloggers who hate me are content with throwing around baseless accusations and slander about me. Integrity and honesty are foreign concepts to these jerks.

Anyways, you said the Malkin photo is halfway across the internet.. Have you seen it anyplace else? I'm in a learning about me mood right now.

That comment was snark. I wasn't aware (but unsurprised) about the American Power post. Is this a Loaded Moth feud? I know we had our Wizbang and Protein Wisdom (who hasn't feuded with the latter) dust ups.

No prior feuds with American Power. To my knowledge, before AP made a post about me, I had never even linked to or made a comment there. So the attacks against me came out of nowhere as far as I'm concerned, I was perfectly content to ignore and never read AP. But I chalk the AP post about me upto wanting hits. Michelle Malkin has made a career out of this equation:

Take an unknown lefty + Apply any negative label you want to them = $$$$ out the yin yang

Malkin wrote the book on this -- literally. It's called "Unhinged". And it takes real unknowns to task. For example, look at Ward Churchill. That man leaned to the left of Ralph Nader for Christ's sake, but Malkin and her ilk took him, made a story out of him, and then applied him to the left at large like he represents us.

Wash, rinse, profit, repeat. So instead of talking with me, finding out my views on issues (anyone will find that I lean to the left, but righties might be surprised at how often I criticize the Democrats), instead I fall victim to the "Let's call him an unhinged lefty!" strategy of getting hits. Instead of talking with me, blogs like AP would rather use me like a cheap whore for hits.
