Howard Fineman on Republican Strategy

Howard Fineman explains the Republican Party's strategy is playing up racial fears with birth conspiracy theories. Fineman says Rush Limbaugh, Liz Cheney and Newt Gingrich are currently running the RNC.

Fineman reports Congressional Republicans have no health care plan. Republicans plan to kill health care reform to help their midterm election prospects. Fineman says many Americans fear if they lose their jobs they will have no health care. From a policy standpoint, Fineman explains, Obama is on the right side of the issue. Republicans are on the wrong side. The GOP is less concerned with policy than retaining power. I wonder what Republicans plan to do if they win Congress back. Tax cuts is a bumper sticker slogan. Not a serious policy proposal.
