Mark Lanegan is one of my all-time favorite singers. This song moves me in a spiritual way.
Longtime PR readers will remember Litbrit's brave dog Winston. Sadly, Winston passed away recently. This song goes out in memory of mighthy Tornello family guard dog.

Michael! Thank you for posting this, and I am sorry to have missed it last month, as well as sorry to not have thanked you sooner.
I am still in shock about Winston--I haven't posted a tribute to him yet, and it has been almost two months since he died--but the two youngest boys don't know yet (they think he ran away, Heaven help me) and I can't bring myself to break it to them. I know, I know, I need to, but it's so very hard, especially since we lost our elderly Lab, Mo, only a few days after Winston's passing (they do know about that, and helped give her a beautiful send-off in a grave filled with bougainvillea blossoms and lilies, underneath the big bamboo stand by the lake).
*sigh* Life is deeply sad, sometimes.
But it's good to know your friends are out there, caring. Thank you again.
