Fox News Ambush Journalism

I'm really see the days of Fox News as numbers. Fox News won't completely die. It will be thought of like Rush Limbaugh these day. The crazy uncle everyone stopped listening to.

A producer for Bill O'Reilly's show ambushed Bill Moyers and repeatedly asks Moyers why he won't come on his show. Moyers told the Fox News producer that he come on O'Reilly's show when O'Reilly comes on Moyers program. The Fox News producer repeats the same question and calls Moyers a liar and blowhard. This is an interesting form of journalism.

The Fox News producer made the mistake of ambushing Moyers at the National Conference of Media Reform 2008. Journalist filmed ambushing of Moyers. Journalists then ambushed the Fox News producer. Hilarity ensues.

The Fox News producer was uncomfortable and had the nerve to say "I was respectful and honest." Respectful is not ambushing someone with a camera and calling them names. Honesty is not lying about one's treatment of Moyers. The Fox News producer reminds me of Howard Stern lacky Stuttering John. The latter was paid to ask celebrities stupid questions. Who knew Fox News held Howard Stern's journalistic skills in such high regard.
