The musical performance by Michael Cera and Ellen Page was a great way to end
Juno.
Michael Cera And Ellen Page -
Anyone Else But YouI am getting tired of people using
Juno to support their abortion arguments. That was never screenwriter Diablo Cody's intent.
Juno is about a cynical young woman forced to grow up. The Jason Bateman character has a reverse trajectory. The Bateman character hitting on Juno was the film's creepiest moment.
Readers, what did you think about
Juno.
Where is your mind? the character was not "hitting" on a young girl, he was actually interested in the fact that another human being was appreciative of his taste in music and film ....period... get your mind out of the gutter
ReplyDeleteRe: JUNO
wow. that was cold.
ReplyDeletehussey, when did your mind go to the gutter?? LOL !!!
At any rate, I did not see Juno but from what I was told it was trying to drive home some points but no one who saw it picked them up. I noted that they were 'trying' because it's my job to read between the lines.
BUT, I do also remember that they said she had sex because she was 'bored' ... which was not my idea of something should be shoved on young folks. LOL.
The person whose commentary I am going by is pre-adult. Loved it.
If they're going to use it to support their stupid argument it's NOT going to work.
Good post.
The Bateman character slow-danced with Juno and thought she would be happy that he was leaving his wife. That came off as sexually suggestive.
ReplyDeleteI would think so.
