I noted that Republican presidential candidates are avoiding mentioning President Bush's name at the debates. Florida Republicans are staying away from any B word that doesn't have Jeb in front of it.

Asked by a reporter why no one was mentioning the name of the Republican president, whose poll numbers have been scraping bottom in Florida and nationwide, Gov. Charlie Crist paused, then responded:

"I think he just was," Crist said.

Then he moved onto the next question.

Notice how Crist didn't mention the Prez's name.
