CQ Politics has interesting data of how often House and Senate members vote with President Bush. What is interesting is that Tom Feeney and Mel Martinez have voted more with Bush in 2007 than 2006. The President is finding Republicans increasingly voting against legislation he approves.
Sadly, Bill Nelson votes with the President over 50 percent of the time.

Couple of problems here. First, the Presidential support score in the Senate can be misleading, especially when not put in comparison wioth other Senators.
ReplyDeleteWhile Bill Nelson voted with Bush 53% of the time, russ Feingold, the darling of the net rooots, voted with Bush 49% of the time. so it is not like Nelson is all that awful in that regard.
Secondly, the House stats have number for Bilirakis in 2006. that would have had to have been Daddy Mike, since lil Gus only entered the House in 2007.
