Bush's Confusing Rationale For Iraq War

One day Bush says Iraq isn't like Vietnam. Another day Bush says it is. Makes sense to you? Good. Moving along...

  1. The handlers for Bush know that he already has lost his Iraq war, but is unwilling to admit to it. This gives them little choice but to come up with a bizarre array of contradicting rationalizations for keeping our troops in Iraq.

  2. The wisest decision this man ever made was not trying to institute the draft after 9/11. Of course I’m being cynical. This President is never going to reduce the amount of troops in Iraq. He has been a total failure and his stubborn steadfastness on Iraq has led to the demise of the U.S. world opinion. The mere fact that only 1 percent of the population has been affected by this war, unlike Vietnam, is the reason our inept Congress can’t even muster the energy to bring our troops home.

  3. he might have given it up six months ago if someone would have stepped forward to accept the blame rather than he.(he was making the mouth motions) BUT, we can't forget his ulterior motives. He wants to RE-deploy the troops right over into Iran and elsewhere.
    He's off the cork.

  4. NO EUREKA MOMENT

To go into a shop across the street
And smash it with a baseball bat, would not
Endear a soul to anyone; to beat,
Maim its proprietor, torment a lot,
Even to kill, were yet not found endearing.
So why, discussing nations, does it seem
Proper to do so, arguments not hearing,
Rather expecting thence peaches and cream?

A kind of illogicity at play
    Surpasseth understanding: womankind
Perhaps may understand it (so they say)
But any thinking person ought to find
The allegation, deeply at its core
Disturbing: as with shopkeeper then also
With any nation, treating to a war.
Eureka! save conceptions do not fall so...
