Hip To Be Square

Mitt Romney won the Young Republicans National Convention in Hollywood, Florida. Fred Thompson came in second and Rudy Giuliani finished third.

Kids, this is the future of American politics. It's hip to be square and a young Republican.

  1. I'm trying to decide between "Doucheboy" or "Cowdouche." Decisions, decisions...

  2. Uh, Romney bused people in (bought 100 tickets) and won with 168. Thompson bused no one in and had just over 100 votes. Hmmm, seems to me that when Thompson showed up and spoke to the group of REAL YR (not bused in ones) that he cleaned Romney's clock! Buying votes is not leadership. The FYR normally only allow members to vote, but Romney wins only with non-members voting.

Romney buys votes to get 168

Thompson shows leadership and gets 100+ votes for free!

Seems like Thompson comes out way ahead.

  3. Once again, those who are smarter, more resourceful, and have better ground game get slammed because why? Seems to me this is why George Bush 43 beat John Kerry. I guess maybe we should give up on trying. I for one think the candidate who is trying has the most likelihood of winning in the general election as opposed to the one who mererly gets roped in by flattery.
