Another Abbate Cop In Trouble

Anthony Abbate viciously beat Karolina Obrycka for refusing to serve him. Then there were allegations that Obrycka was offered a bribe not to press charges. Now Abbate's brother Terry, also a Chicago police officer, was videotaped in a barroom fight.

Terry M. Abbate, a 12-year veteran officer, is accused of fighting with an off-duty police officer from Washington, D.C., who was in Chicago celebrating St. Patrick's Day.

The incident occurred at a downtown bar on Hubbard during the early morning hours of March 18. A videotape reportedly shows one of the two officers on the ground. Both officers later are seen walking away.

Chicago Police spokeswoman Monique Bond said the D.C. officer waited 10 days before filing a complaint with the department's Office of Professional Standards.

This story has crossed the point of being utterly redicious. These men have contempt for the laws they are sworn to uphold. The fucked up thing is, before these incidents, a Judge would take the Abbate brothers' word over a law-abidding citizen for the simple reason that they have badges.

Yes, or the right last name. They do not give a fuck. Long as the bread stays buttered. But, that's going to change. Not fast, but it will. Here in Tampa is the same problem with putting the education for these less than honorable civil servants at the high-school level (firefighters) They're getting them young --- they're all related or have deep roots together. It's the whole plan. Glad these guys got caught. Another sad thing is they might be the lesser evil. Sometimes some even MORE evil person just wants them out of the way. Like happened in Tampa and now look what we have.
