Quote of the Day: Trickle Down Edition
"I believe in the market just as much as the next guy. I believe that if property taxes are reduced and apartment complexes are able to offer rent at a lower rate they will do so to remain competitive."
Mr. G

I have heard the trickle down therory for years. When has there ever been documented proof that apartment complexes immediately decreased renter's fees after a property tax cut. I have been googling and can't find one. What I'm looking for is complexes cutting monthly fees during a tenant's lease because of a property tax cut.
Mr. G doesn't understand Florida. 1,000 people move to the state everyday. There is a harder problem for a renter to find a good apartment than complexes filling units. Floridians will even in poorly maintained complexes run by slumlords. And Mr. G thinks apartments complexes have a problem being competitive.
