Kathy Castor Number 1
Kathy Castor won first place in the power rankings for freshmen congressional members. Castor is sixth overall in Florida for the House.
In other news: Gus Bilirakis finished next to last in the House.
I wish to Castor office would send me the links when they email me updates. Fortunately, Derek Newton found it.

I was curious what the criteria was for that and such. But I was not logged in to wherever I read it.
Gus finished next to last, wow.
personal story on the bilirakis -- last year when jim davis tried to get us all to agree to compromise on the oil and we all fought it vigorously and jim was good enough to hold the town meetings and try to fight it with us ... one of daddy B's. aides showed up and sat down next to me. Not just sat, but hovered, lurched on me, got in my space ALOT, stepped on me, did lots of stuff to make me uncomfortable. I can't remember what all. Very rude person who did do one polite thing before she departed, I think. Maybe after she stepped on me again.
Anyway --- I was somehow not surprised when gus placed so badly because if you send out staff like that even though none of us vote for gus, that speaks volumes. Like when you go to a doctor's office and his staff are idiots. If they won't pay to get the best, there is something wrong with that picture. Everyone on Jim Davis' staff was good at their job, they excelled --- it was part of why I got behind him strongly .. he surrounded himself with awesome people.
