Ralph Arza Arrested

Arza Arrested

Florida State Rep. Ralph Arza resigned an hour before the start of the House Select Committee hearings on his phone calls to Gus Barreiro. Now Republican are going to have to select a candidate. Democrats must be wishing they ran a candidate in the race.

Attorney Katherine Fernández Rundle has filed charges against Arza. He turned himself in to the Miami-Dade County jail. Paulino Barbon was also charged with leaving the second threat message. He was released on $10,000 bail. Barbon is Arza's cousin.

Update: Eduardo Gonzalez has been named Arza's ballot replacement.
