:: Hump Day...Public Service Announcements ::

The French, and basically the European culture, is generally much more open and sophisticated about sexuality than the American Puritan culture. Why is it we try to hide such a wonderful part of life and not discuss it honestly? These days, our culture seems to be retreating to the 1950s, in more ways than one.

These video clips are from France (are in English) and are public service announcements regarding safe sex. One is oriented towards heterosexuals and the other homosexuals. They are both well done, humorous and animated. I wish they were showing on NBC, ABC, and CBS. But, since they are not, go have a look. They really are quite good. And, yes, they include animated sex.

Although this is not a public service announcement, David Blaine failed to beat the world record for holding his breath, only lasting 7 minutes and 8 seconds and was rescued from the tank in which he was holding on for dear life. Well, maybe it is a public service announcement: don’t try this trick at home. I hope there is no brain damage. I love this guy. You can see the parts that matter on VideoDog.
