Act Blue and Act Now

The midterm elections are of great importance to all. We have looked at several years of political corruption and incompetence. From Tom Delay to Katrina, the Republican Party has showed a lack of that compassion we used to hear so much about. While dead bodies were floating in the water - Rick Santorum was blaming the victims. Bush was on vacation. Dennis Hastert was gleefully talking about bulldozing New Orleans.

Iraq has been no better. The administration kept using 9-11 to justify to invasion of Iraq. Neoconservatives promised how Americans would be warmly greeted. It's now 2006 and over 2000 U.S. military personal have died. Bush has left Iraq for his successor to deal with.

The White House's economic policies produced no net jobs during it's first term. Budget Director Joshua Bolton managed a record-setting debt. President Bush promoted Bolton to Chief of Staff.

Republicans in Congress are being indicted for their dealings with lobbyists Jack Abramoff and Mitchell Wade. Former Congressman Duke Cunningham was sent to prison for accepting brides.
