Howard Kurtz On the Daily Show

Howard Kurtz tells Jon Stewart that that bad news from Iraq is being "framed" and not enough positive coverage is being done. This is the same guy who ran with Power Line's bogus fake Terri Schiavo memo.

While there is no hard evidence that the memo is fake, there are several strange things about it, including the basic fact that no one seems to know who wrote it and that the noncontroversial part of it is lifted from a Republican senator's press release.

The memo came from Mel Martinez and his office.

The point is Kurtz is a hack shrill pretending to be a columnist.

Why does Howie Kurtz have a job that doesn't involve flipping burgers or selling insurance? How? Why? Can anybody solve this mystery?
